Heathfield Farm
At Heathfield Farm, we provide meaningful and purposeful day activities for people with learning disabilities and autism. The activities we offer include growing vegetables, basic woodwork, site maintenance, arts & craft and cookery.
Everyone who comes to the farm benefits from the mental and physical wellbeing gained from socialising and spending time outdoors. We use a person-centred approach with emphasis placed on teaching life and work skills, encouraging independence and building people’s confidence.
The staff and volunteers at Heathfield Farm have a wide range of skills and experience which can aid the personal development of those who attend the farm.
Our site is home to four miniature Shetland ponies – Shammy, Star, Shadow and Dreamer.
